My name is Lisa Constanti and I am a Professional Genealogist with a Masters in Genealogical, Paleographic and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde. Born and raised in North London and now based in Cambridgeshire with my family, I previously worked in Procurement and M&A for 20 plus years where I obtained unique analytical skills and Research experience. This supported my obsession with Family History, which began as a hobbyist in 2012.
I am half Cypriot and the rest is a mix of English, Scottish and German.
With over 10 years’ experience in researching Genealogy and Family History in the UK and Cyprus, I have strong experience in researching Ancestral pasts for clients in the UK, Europe and especially in Cyprus. My family originated from Karpasia, Cyprus. I have spent several years gathering Cypriot documentary sources and building databases with 10’s of thousands of names to support traditional family research alongside DNA analysis and have been writing a book on the family history of Vathylakas, an occupied village in Cyprus.

My research is UK wide, but with focuses in Cambridgeshire, surrounding counties including London, Herts, Beds, Suffolk and Norfolk. Equally, I have developed a strong research knowledge in Scotland and also researching European countries. I have a keen interest in developing my Heraldry skills, including the art of Heraldry in calligraphy and illuminations.
Lisa is the Research Officer for the Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Family History Society, a Director of the Register of Qualified Genealogists (RQG) an Associate member of the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (AGRA), a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists(APG), The Heraldry Society and The Cambridge University Historical and Genealogical Society (CUHAGS), and the Haddenham Local History Group. She works on Local history projects and volunteers at Cambridgeshire Archives as well as other genealogy related projects.
Guiding Principles
Every Person has a unique history and story, and every person has a right to learn about their story. My purpose is to discover and preserve the stories of those who wish to learn theirs.
Ancestry is a right everyone should be able to explore, but their lives, like ours, were complex and not every stone turned over paints a perfect picture. We are only human after all.
I endeavour to bring to people a service which is personable, honest and as detailed as possible. Where I cannot find information, I will do my best to signpost you to where you can look to further your own research
